This involved creating and formalizing Guild within the laws of Uganda. This process required formulating a constitution approved by the guild council, defining it's Vision, Mission, objectives, and leadership structure, and outlining procedures for elections, funding, and the operation of its various departments.
Through the process of classification, the Guild will zone our regions to identify the different stakeholders in the screenwriting space to provide visual data for planning, managing, and understanding the various screenwriters.
After clearly defining it's objectives, the Guild will provide immediate value, create welcome onboarding experiences, and foster a sense of belonging and community through meaningful screenwriting hubs, collaborations, trainings, script clinic sessions and awarding events.
This will be an ongoing process of keeping a Guild system and structure functioning (maintenance), assessing the performance of the leadership, the policies, members activity benefits and identifying areas for improvement (evaluation to ensure its continued long-term viability and effectiveness (sustenance). This will are involve regular monitoring, adaptation to new needs, and the implementation of strategies to maintain and enhance performance over time.
